_What we do
FLOW Architecture bridges practice and academia, translating urban research into tangible experiences for cities, institutions, and communities.
Founded in 2013 by Vincent Nowak and Annarita Papeschi, the studio works at the intersection of architecture, urbanism, and media art, developing projects that range from buildings to public-realm installations and immersive environments.
Our research explores how emerging technologies and collective intelligence transform the collaborative processes of space-making. This inquiry often materialises as media-art interventions presented at festivals and institutions across Europe. Supported by the European Media Art Platform (EMAP), our VR installation, PERVASIVE EYES ASTURIAS, was recently exhibited at LABoral, Gijón (ES).
As ARB-registered architects in the UK, we deliver both private and public commissions, including the award-winning LIGHT FALLS house in London and the forthcoming MUNARI SCHOOL COMPLEX in Arcugnano, Italy.
Our mixed-practice model bridges academic research, design consultancy, and creative production, fostering a continuous exchange between theory and practice. We currently teach at the Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London, across the Master’s programs in Urban Design and in Engineering and Architectural Design. Our work has been featured internationally in Dezeen, Wallpaper, Interni, Frame, Azure, and Detail, and has been presented at the Tallinn Architecture Biennale and the London Festival of Architecture.
