What it is ?

VL.AxiDraw is a small open-source project that lets you control an AxiDraw pen plotter directly from vvvv gamma. It’s made for designers who want to connect digital drawings with physical tools — turning data, geometry, or code into real ink lines on paper.

Why we made it?

We often move between screen and paper in our work. Plen plotters lets us draw with code instead of a mouse or pen, but most tools are made for programmers. This plugin makes it easy for anyone using vvvv to experiment with robotic drawing, without writing a single line of code.

What you can do?

• Send shapes and paths from vvvv straight to the pen plotter.

• Adjust speed, pen lift, and movement in real time

• Create generative or data-driven drawings

• Mix digital logic with hand-made results
